Our Vision & Mission
Haitian Homes for Haitian Children will help Haiti to be a place where children can live in a loving and supportive family environment, providing for their educational, physical, emotional and spiritual care. Our ultimate mission is to keep families together by providing educational, physical and spiritual care to young Haitians and their families.
Who We Are
We are a non-denominational 501c3 organization, working in Jeremie, Haiti and the surrounding mountain areas. Jeremie is located on the west coast of Haiti. Our organization identifies families in need through relationships with churches, and those children are submitted for sponsorship.
As sponsors come forward, the child is enrolled in one of our partner parochial schools. School tuition, books, uniform, tutoring, nutritional supplements and healthcare are provided to each child. The sponsorship also includes a monthly stipend for the family to help with the high cost of food. Our sponsorships start with pre-school age children and extend through post graduate students studying in local colleges, universities, and trade schools.
